Southern Calamary Squid (Sepioteuthis australis)

Mostly a noctornal squid species that hunts at night. Seen alone or in numbers but photogenic either way! They can be shy and if they feel threatened they can quickly release their ink! The best is when you see them in large numbers during the day - always slightly further away than you would like for getting that perfect photo!
