Pyjama Squid (Sepioloidea lineolata)

Pyjama squid are only usually visible at night. They are so crazy looking! When spotted out and about they usually quickly run for cover and hide again once they spot you! They are small (~10cm in length) and have vivid stripes.

Find them in the wild

You would be incredibly lucky to ever see these animals in daylight. I have only ever seen them on sandy bottoms during a night dive. You can book night dives to see them with Dive Centre Bondi.
